It’s free to register and once you’re a member you can catch-up with the latest news and events.

Not only about the Breast Way Round charity bike run, but all sorts of things.

It’s open to all entrants and any like-minded bikers who want to arrange their own ride-outs, buy or sell biking ’stuff’, exchange ideas and generally have a bit of friendly ‘banter’.

Are you a Winner?

Hand-on-heart, you are all winners to us.

But for our 2009 charity ride, ShirleyAnn thought it was only fair to offer a prize to the ladies taking part.

After all, the fellas have a ‘Best Bra’ competition with a super prize.

So here is the challenge:

Which lady biker will raise the most money for Macmillan Cancer Support on our 2009 ride-out?

Could it be you?

If it is, you’ll find yourself the winner of a fantastic ‘Goodie Bag’.

We’re still in the process putting the ‘Goddie Bag’ together, so watch this space for updates.

Well! What are you waiting for!

First Annual Dance

CEILIDH!

1st November 2008, Caprington Suite, Park Hotel, Kilmarnock Football Club

This was our first annual dance. Sadly this first event also served as a Memorial Dance to Alyson, our inspiration. This venue rounded off the biking calendar. It gave everyone a chance to catch up, raise more money for Macmillan Cancer Support and further boost our final total.

We raised £2685 in the auction and a further £2550 in ticket and raffle sales. Just Over £6000 in total.

Thanks to everyone who took part and sponsored this event. It was truly a fantastic night. It also helped to kick-start preparations for the 2009 Breast Way Round.

  • Ceilidh: Music by the Brigadiers - Brilliant!
  • Cocktails went down a treat - Thanks to DIAGEO
  •  Fabulous raffle and auction prizes, and some surprises!
  • Caricature artist by the Scottish Cartoon Art Company were great fun too.

In memory of Alyson Jean Porter, 1960 - 2008

A truly remarkable and inspirational woman.

Aly’s favourite poem . . .

FOOTPRINTS IN THE SAND

One night I dreamed I was walking along the beach with the Lord. Many scenes from my life flashed across the sky.In each scene I noticed footprints in the sand. Sometimes there were two sets of footprints, other times there was one only.

This bothered me because I noticed that during the low periods of my life, when I was suffering from anguish, sorrow or defeat, I could see only one set of footprints, so I said to the Lord, “You promised me Lord, that if I followed you, you would walk with me always. But I have noticed that during the most trying periods of my life there has only been one set of footprints in the sand. Why, when I needed you most, have you not been there for me?”

The Lord replied, “The years when you have seen only one set of footprints, my child, is when I carried you.”

It was a truly remarkable night. The planning of everything went without a hitch (almost)!

A massive THANKYOU to all of you who took part. And to all of you who wanted to be there but couldn’t. You were missed.

Dave , Aly’s husband had a fabulous evening. Please read his comment. Aly would have been so proud of us all .
